The Vince Bilardo Orchestra provided entertainment and more than 100 honored guests and friends participated in guided tours of the property's most remarkable and newly renovated features.
The tours included a viewing of the property's flowing water feature, as well as a walk through the updated ballroom, pool, public areas and suites, which were renovated over a three-year period. The hotel's 10,656-square-foot ballroom was re-designed with a contemporary flair, richly decorated in aubergine and gold tones. It features new artwork, wall coverings, sconces, doors, hardware, airwalls and carpet, providing one of Kansas City's most elegant locations for a variety of events. Additional renovations throughout the property and suites include new king-size and double beds in each suite, atrium accents, upscale furniture, wet bars, appliances, windows, drapes and sheers.
