615 Music Library Adds New Releases to Extensive Offerings,
615 Music Creates New Custom Sounds for PBS and CNBC
615 Music Library will offer a 20% discount to National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) conferees who visit the 615 Music booth and sign multi-year license agreements during the two conventions or within 60 days of the events, company President Randy Wachtler has announced.
"With costs constantly rising, we at 615 Music are always searching for ways to provide the broadcast industry creative and economical ways to serve a variety of needs," Wachtler said. "The multi-year discounts we're offering to NAB and RTNDA attendees this year, give broadcasters the chance to create their own economies of scale."
Registered NAB and RTNDA participants who stop by the 615 Music booths at the two conventions will receive the discount when they sign a 615 Music Library licensing agreement for two or more years. The offer will extend 60 days past the conventions to enable convention participants to take advantage of the discount through June 21, 2004.
615 Music Library
At the conventions to be held in Las Vegas in April, 615 Music Library will showcase its expanded offerings with the release of four new CDs. The new releases bring the total number of CDs in the 615 Music Library to 175 discs. The new releases include:
-- Techno Dance Chill-out (SFL-1126) covering a wide range of
Techno, House, Trance and Chillout sounds and orchestral
remixes;
-- Big Band Dinner Dance (SFL-1127), music that evokes an evening
at the Rainbow Room with lush big-band arrangements, soaring
strings and a variety of dance tempos;
-- Hollywood Premieres, Vol. 2 (SFL-1128), a follow-up to the
popular first release. Orchestral charts recall all the
action, adventure, science fiction and suspense of the biggest
Hollywood blockbusters;
-- Hip-Hop Rap (SFL-1129), a disc that draws on some of the most
popular rhythms and themes of the day, including driving beats
and sampled mixes.
615 Music is also the exclusive American distributor for the Paris-based Music Shop and Music Gallery libraries, further enhancing the 615's offerings. New releases offered through this relationship include:
-- Classical Movement (EM 5233), featuring various contemporary
and classical orchestral styles ranging from baroque to
carnival to tango;
-- Oriental Flavour (EM 5234), a collection of ethereal Middle
Eastern-style music;
-- Total House (EM 5235), an assortment of contemporary
electronic house music;
-- Brazilian Beauty (EM 5236), tracks comprised of acoustic and
electronic elements arranged and performed in a variety of
South American-flavored styles.
615 Music Library is also featuring the five-disc Aural Stimulation Series of production elements, an excellent audio "tool kit," containing stings, zaps, swishes, intros, beats, transitions, atmospheres and musical beds. The Aural Stimulation Series has all the elements needed to create great promos and quick attention grabbing bumpers and IDs, in an edit-friendly format.
