PGP Corporation Appoints Ray Rothrock to Board of Directors; New Member with Wide Information Technology and Internet Expertise

PGP Corporation, the recognized worldwide leader in digital information security, today announced that it has appointed Raymond Rothrock to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Rothrock brings to the Board extensive expertise in managing and growing new ventures, especially those focused on information security and information technologies.

Mr. Rothrock is a managing general partner at Venrock Associates, where he focuses on information technology, in general, and Internet companies, in particular. He currently serves on the boards of Arzoon Inc., Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., P-Cube Inc., Pedestal Software Inc., Qpass Inc., Space.com, SteelEye Technology Inc., and Whole Security Inc. Additionally, he is a board member of The Texas A&M Foundation, the Department of Nuclear Engineering Visiting Committee of MIT, and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Woodside Priory School. Previously, Mr. Rothrock served on the boards of DIGEX Inc. (acquired by Intermedia Communications), Haystack Labs (acquired by Trusted Information Systems/Network Associates), and Spyglass. He also led Venrock's investment in DoubleClick.
Mr. Rothrock has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, an S.M. in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard Business School.
