Perry Ellis Enters into License Agreement with Seiko USA for Watches

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2004

Perry Ellis International (Nasdaq:PERY) announced today a license agreement with SII Marketing International, a division of Seiko Instruments USA Inc., for the manufacture and domestic distribution of Perry Ellis(R) men's and women's watches. The line of watches, called Perry Ellis Chronology, will be sold under the Perry Ellis(R), Perry Ellis Portfolio(R), and Perry Ellis America(R) brands.
