iRise Appoints Sherrick Murdoff as VP of Business Development; Business Development Executive to Leverage Growing Demand for Application Simulation by Strategic Partners

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- iRise(R), the leading enterprise software and services company dedicated to bridging the communication gap between business and IT, today announced the appointment of Sherrick Murdoff as vice president of business development. In this role, Mr. Murdoff will lead the company's global strategic alliance strategy and new market development initiatives. Mr. Murdoff has more than 12 years of software industry business development experience, with a proven track record of building productive global partnerships. The addition of Mr. Murdoff reinforces the company's commitment to partnerships as a key to expanding its market leadership.
Mr. Murdoff comes to iRise from Elance, the leading provider of software solutions for services procurement and management, where he held the position of senior director of business development. As an early employee at CascadeWorks, which was acquired by Elance in 2003, Mr. Murdoff spearheaded the company's alliance programs while personally driving large OEM and reseller transactions, contributing significant revenue to the company. Prior to Elance, Murdoff successfully developed channel and alliance relationships in various business development, sales and product management roles at Cohera, Sun Microsystems, Net Dynamics and Price Waterhouse.
