Indigio Hires Bill Thomas of Dex Media in Preparation for Technology's Economic Growth

Business Wire, August 18, 2004

DENVER -- Tim Higgins, CEO of Indigio Group, Inc. (http://www.Indigio.com/), announced today that the company had hired Bill Thomas as Executive Vice President of Client Services, in preparation for what the company sees as the economic expansion beginning in Colorado and the technology sector. In Thomas' role, accountable for corporate Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, he will begin growing the teams responsible for selling Indigio's ever-expanding products and services in Denver, Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, New York, Texas and California.

"It's been a long, hard four years for many high-tech businesses, and we're grateful to be one of the survivors," stated Mr. Higgins. "The writing's on the wall; it's clear that the high-tech market is coming back: businesses are hiring again and tech companies are rebuilding, and we're preparing for the coming expansion in the market for online services."

As examples, Mr. Higgins points to the Monster Employment Index, which now shows six months of solid growth in job ads in the Rocky Mountain region, and the Business Leaders Confidence Index (BLCI), which continues to rise in Colorado. "The BLCI has been talking about a 'near-record level exuberance' among Colorado's business leaders," explained Mr. Higgins. "These business leaders are ready to invest in building their companies, and we're ready to help them."

Bill Thomas is leaving Denver's Dex Media (NYSE:DEX), one of the nation's largest publishers of Yellow Pages and Colorado's most recent IPO, after five years service, most recently as Director of Strategic Technology Initiatives and Advanced Web Development. "As the economy recovers, I think you'll find that many people who found safe haven in large, established companies will begin looking to smaller entrepreneurial firms," Thomas said. "Indigio is the sort of firm with fantastic potential, thanks to its history of high-quality work for very large clients." Indigio has a strong relationship with Dex Media, having worked closely with its Web Development and Strategy team over several years.

Indigio, profiled as an "Internet Survivor" by the Denver Business Journal last year, has prospered thanks to its relationships with Fortune 500 companies such as Budget Rent a Car, Dex Media, Allied Van Lines, the Denver News Agency, Dependable Auto Shippers and Avis Rent a Car. The company helps its clients devise effective online strategies and grow their online channels. After working with Indigio for several years, for instance, Budget Rent a Car now takes around one third of all its reservations online. Indigio has on a number of occasions been ranked by local media as one of Colorado's fastest growing companies and largest software developers.

Bill Thomas will be helping Indigio get its story of success in helping companies succeed online to a wider audience, and direct Indigio's sales and marketing efforts nationwide. His experience in the technical-consulting field, in particular with managing sales and marketing teams, will be an invaluable asset to Indigio as it grows with the now burgeoning technology sector.
