Tractebel Energy Marketing, Inc. Selects PCI Software for Generation Asset Optimization

NORMAN, Okla. -- Power Costs, Inc. (PCI), the leading provider of enterprise asset optimization and generation supply management software, announced today that Tractebel Energy Marketing, Inc. (TEMI) has selected PCI GenTrader(R) to support its marketing and trading activities, in the United States, with particular focus on the ERCOT market.

PCI GenTrader(R) has been implemented for generation asset optimization in every North American energy market and is used to optimize nearly half of all the generation in the United States.

PCI GenTrader(R) is a portfolio optimization model used for both short-term operations optimization and long-term planning. PCI software also includes PCI GenManager(TM) for bidding, ISO communication, and settlement and PCI GenPortal(R) for workflow automation.
