BJ's Wholesale Club Becomes Certified Member of Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Program

NATICK, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. (NYSE:BJ) today announced that the Company has been officially accepted as a certified member of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Program.

C-TPAT is a joint government-business initiative created by the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, to strengthen supply chain and border security. In order to qualify for C-TPAT certification, companies must conduct an intensive assessment of their supply chain security, meet stringent security guidelines developed by the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection and communicate security efforts with business and transportation partners.
