QuickLogic Announces Windows CE Support for the QuickMIPS Family of Programmable SoCs; Aligned to QuickLogic's Focus on Enterprise and Automotive Media Equipment

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- QuickLogic Corporation (Nasdaq:QUIK), the inventor and pioneer of Embedded Standard Products (ESPs), announced the immediate availability of Microsoft's Windows CE .NET embedded operating system optimized for its QuickMIPS product family. This family of programmable system-on-a-chip (SoC) devices is targeted for applications that require the efficient and secure transmission of digital media across wired and wireless enterprise and automotive networks.

Availability
The Board Support Package (BSP) for the QuickMIPS devices is optimized for the QuickMIPS Development Platform (QDP) available directly from QuickLogic. The QuickMIPS-specific board support software is available free of charge directly from QuickLogic. The BSP is expected to be formally certified by Microsoft by the end of Q3, 2004.
