North Pacific Group, Inc. Announces the Appointment of New Board Member

PORTLAND, Ore. -- North Pacific Group, Inc., a building material wholesale trade and distribution company, has announced the appointment of Patricia Moss to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Moss is currently President and CEO of Cascade Bancorp (Nasdaq:CACB), parent company of Bank of the Cascades, headquartered in Bend, Oregon. Ms. Moss has been with the Bank since its inception in 1977 and has held numerous roles including executive vice president, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and secretary to the Board of Directors.

Ranked in the "Top 5 Bank CEO's" for 2003 by U.S. Banker magazine, Ms. Moss currently serves on other boards including Cascade Bancorp, MDU Resources Group, Inc., Tax Free Trust of Oregon, Central Oregon Independent Health Services, and Oregon State University's Cascade Campus Advisory Board. She has also been involved in various community activities including Oregon State Housing Council, St. Charles Medical Center, Central Oregon Community College, Oregon Community Foundation and Deschutes United Way.
