ADERANT Partners with DataCert, Inc. to Slash Costs Associated with Electronic Billing
Business Wire, August 24, 2004
PHOENIX -- Invoice Processing Accounts for 71 Percent of Total E-billing Costs(1)
ADERANT today announced a partnership with leading electronic invoicing and legal spend management provider DataCert, Inc., enabling ADERANT to further streamline and automate e-bill processing. According to the 2004 LawNet E-Billing Survey, the production cost of an average e-bill is approximately $68.00 U.S. This expense, coupled with the perceived high cost of implementation, has created reluctance on the part of many firms to implement e-billing solutions.
ADERANT has automated the e-billing processes and integrated them into the standard billing application, enabling firms to streamline creation, distribution and collection cycles. By automating functions such as transmission and notification, the solution eliminates manual production and approval of e-bills, shortens the bill process and significantly reduces firms' operational costs.
"Until now, many e-billing providers focused on reducing the cost of implementing e-billing solutions, however we are focusing on the major cost-cutting issue--processing," said Dave Weber, vice president, products, ADERANT. "The results of the LawNet E-Billing Survey, revealing invoice processing is 71 percent of the total e-billing cost, validate our development efforts."
"DataCert's partnership with ADERANT allows us to streamline the electronic invoice submission process for more than 4,000 law firm clients," commented Jeff Hodge, vice president, product marketing, DataCert. "Soon, ADERANT clients that use DataCert for e-bill submission will be able to securely submit invoices directly from within the CMS.Net application. Authentication, invoice upload, and invoice tracking through DataCert's ShareDoc service will all be initiated and handled using the CMS.Net interface, making the entire process that much easier for our clients."
The DataCert alliance signifies ADERANT's commitment to setting the industry standard for Web services that automate e-bill processing. Strategically aligning with leading e-commerce companies and integrating practice management and e-billing applications, ADERANT is enabling services organizations to optimize efficiencies and improve profitability.
"Today, more than ever, firms require secure, integrated solutions to meet their e-commerce objectives," said Michael J. Simmons, CEO of ADERANT. "We view this as an opportunity to help professional services firms streamline and simplify business processes while offering a compelling return on investment. The ADERANT and DataCert partnership demonstrates our ongoing commitment to building and partnering to create comprehensive e-commerce solutions that optimize profitability by improving overall cash management and streamlining processing costs."
Effectively implementing e-commerce strategies enables professional services organizations to increase accounting accuracy and efficiency by automating and improving processes. ADERANT is enabling professional services firms to create, validate and deliver electronic invoices from a single-source application, empowering firms to optimize efficiencies and gain greater control over financials.
