SAN JOSE, Calif. -- WJ Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:WJCI), a leading designer and supplier of high-performance RF semiconductors and multi-chip modules for RFID readers and wireless infrastructure applications, today announced that it will showcase its latest RFID products at the upcoming 2004 Frontline Solutions Conference and Exposition. Frontline Solutions 2004 will be held at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL, during September 13-15, 2004. WJ's RFID product portfolio spans RFID Reader Engines (SX2000 and SX2030) and RFID reader chip sets for UHF and microwave reader applications worldwide. They will be on display in the company's exhibit, booth #916.

RFID Reader Engine Products
The SX2000 is an EPC class 1 reader engine operating in the 900 MHz ISM band. The SX2030 operates in the worldwide 2.4 GHz band. Each model in WJ's family of compact reader/programmer engines reads and programs EPC Class 1 RFID tags. The SX2000 and SX2030 full performance, low-cost and small size enables the realization of a wide range of portable and hand-held reader/programmer solutions including integrated RFID/barcode readers.
RF Semiconductors for RFID
WJ's semiconductor products are ideally suited for the challenging world of RFID readers. The combination of high dynamic-range and rugged reliability make them ideal for demanding RFID applications. Their versatility and ease of use allow them to form the core of any ETSI, ISO or EPC compliant reader solution. WJ's semiconductor products offer low-cost, small size and robust performance in the global HF, UHF and microwave frequency bands.
