Business Wire, August 26, 2004
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Borders Books & Music(R) at 6751 Strip Ave. N.W. in N. Canton, Ohio, will host one of the authors of "Unfit for Command," Jerry Corsi, Saturday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m. EDT for a book signing. Corsi co-wrote "Unfit for Command," Borders' top-selling title last week, with John O'Neill.
"Unfit for Command" has been in high demand nationwide but in short supply from its publisher, Regnery Publishing, Inc. In Borders stores the title is currently in stock, but quantities are limited. "Unfit for Command" is undergoing a second printing and Borders expects more books to be in stores the week of Aug. 29 with copies available at the N. Canton store for the book signing. In the meantime, Borders and Waldenbooks stores nationwide are accepting reservations for the title.
"We are pleased to welcome Jerry Corsi to Borders. Customers have told us, through demand for this book, that this is an important title," said Michael Spinozzi, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Borders Group, Inc. "Borders regularly hosts authors of popular titles across the political spectrum--from Sean Hannity and General Tommy Franks to Bill Clinton and Richard Clarke--and offers a wide variety of material available across the range of political, social and artistic viewpoints."
Note to media:
Media will be permitted inside the store pending pre-approval by the store's area marketing manager, Troy Kahler. Troy can be reached at 330-652-6318 or by e-mail at tkahler1@bordersgroupinc.com.
