3Dsolve Welcomes Dr. Julian Lombardi and Charles Shook to Advisory Board; Newest Members Round Out a Strong Team of Business Leaders and Technology Innovators

CARY, N.C. -- 3Dsolve Inc., The Simulation Learning Company, today announced that two new members have joined its corporate advisory board. Dr. Julian Lombardi, a principal of the open-source Croquet Project and Assistant Director at University of Wisconsin's Division of Information Technology, and Charles Shook, managing partner of Tallawa Capital Partners LLC, round out a top-tier board that includes successful entrepreneurs, leading business authorities, and world renowned technology leaders.

Lombardi oversees a software research and development group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he helps define and lead university-wide initiatives that seek to transform teaching and learning through the use of technology. He is also a principal of the Croquet Project, an open-source software development effort being supported by the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, Viewpoints Research Institute Inc., and Hewlett-Packard Inc.. In 1999, he founded ViOS, Inc. after being awarded a patent on technologies and processes for visualizing and organizing location-based information. ViOS developed 3D architectures that supported the visualization of Internet-deliverable resources. Prior to founding ViOS, Lombardi was a biology professor at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.

Prior to forming Tallawa Capital Partners, his experience included private equity fund management for Harbert Management Corporation, investment banking with Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., and management consulting with FMI Corporation. Shook received a BA in economics from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
