CliniComp, Intl., a recognized leader of advanced, hospital-wide clinician documentation systems with EMR, today announced that five customers -- Genesis Health System, Madigan Army Medical Center, Ohio State University Medical Center, and Sharp Healthcare -- were each named one of the nation's 100 Most Wired hospitals and health systems and the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton was named one of the most wired in a small and rural setting.
Conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks, the Most Wired survey and benchmarking study polls the nation's hospitals on their use of IT to address the key goals of safety and quality, customer service, business processes, work force, and public health and safety. Sharp Hospital has been on the Most Wired list since the study's inception six years ago.
In addition, US NEWS & WORLD REPORT this week (August 2nd edition, A High Dose of Tech) included Ohio State University Hospital among the magazine's own annual survey of America's Best Hospitals.
"We are very happy for each of our customers and they truly deserve recognition for their pioneering use of technology in both clinical and hospital management," said Dr. Richard Kremsdorf, President and CEO of CliniComp. "As a company, we also take pride in the fact that our clinician documentation systems play an important role in their IT strategies and help them achieve their technology goals."
