Cardtronics Selects NCR's High-Availability ATM Service for 3,250 ATMs; Deal Leverages Maintenance Services Incorporating Gasper Vantage System
Business Wire, August 3, 2004
DAYTON, Ohio -- NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) has won a services contract with the nation's largest owner/operator of automated teller machines (ATMs). The services agreement provides complete maintenance services on NCR ATMs deployed nationally by Cardtronics, LP. The win reinforces NCR's leadership position in the ATM market and provides a solid expansion basis to meet the needs of independent ATM retail deployers. NCR services more ATMs worldwide than any other ATM service company.
Michael Clinard, chief operating officer of Cardtronics, said, "NCR's new High-Availability ATM Service Environment really sealed the deal for us. In our business, ATM availability is directly related to customer satisfaction. With their new ATM service delivery infrastructure, we ensure that our customers will experience maximum ATM availability."

This new ATM service solution includes NCR's patented Self-service Diagnostic Gateway. With the addition of the new Gasper Vantage system, Cardtronics will now have in place one of the most sophisticated, high-performance ATM service environments in the world."
