NOVATO, Calif. -- Sonic Solutions(R) (Nasdaq:SNIC) announced today that Sonic AuthorScript(R), the world's leading CD and DVD formatting and burning engine, will be used in Kodak EasyShare Software 4.0. Kodak's popular digital photography software provides millions of consumers with a simple way to organize, print, and share their digital pictures, all with one application. By incorporating Sonic AuthorScript into EasyShare Software 4.0, users will now have the ability to easily archive their photos onto CDs with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Sonic will also make available its MyDVD Slideshow(TM) for CD so that EasyShare Software users (with optional upgrade) can convert their photo projects into Video-CD slideshows for playback on DVD players and multimedia PCs.
