Microsoft Word Support Introduced For RasterMaster Imaging Library and SDK

WATERTOWN, Mass. -- Snowbound Software, a leading provider of performance-driven imaging solutions, today announced the release of a comprehensive Microsoft Word support option for its award-winning RasterMaster Imaging Library and SDK.

The option is currently available for the Windows platform including Windows '95, '98, 2000, XP, and Server 2003, and will soon be available for Java. It supports versions of Word '97 and later. Multi-page documents, embedded images, tables, lists, hyperlinks, style sheets, headers, footers, special characters and auto generated tags are all supported.

This enhancement extends the functionality of Snowbound's document imaging technology. Developers can now create viewing or conversion applications to display or render Word files, while maintaining all of the original formatting, for viewing, printing, or converting the file to any of the other formats supported by the RasterMaster library.
