Business Wire, August 31, 2004

DALLAS -- Robert Jansen, who over his 30 year career has served as president and CEO of some of the nation's most successful information technology companies, has been named Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Geniant, a leader in enterprise integration services.

"This announcement confirms our commitment to growing the company aggressively," said David Lancashire, Geniant co-founder and CEO. "Robert's insight will be invaluable to the board and senior management team as we expand."

From 1981-1986, Jansen was president and COO of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) where he conceived and created the Cirrus Network of ATMs, tripling revenue from $30 million to more than $90 million. He also served as president and CEO of Omron Financial Systems (1986-1992), Cirrus Information Management (1996-1998) and LeDiagio, Ltd. (1998-2003). From 1992-1996 he was regional vice president for Oracle Corporation, where he grew sales at an average 30 percent annually to $120 million.

Jansen joins Geniant as the company is expanding into new regions of the country as part of a strategy designed to increase distribution for the company's market leading service offerings. Jansen said he was immediately attracted to Geniant, a Microsoft Managed Gold Partner that has twice received the Microsoft "Partner of the Quarter" award, because it is uniquely positioned to take advantage of an increasing demand for enterprise level IT consulting services in the marketplace.

"Geniant has attracted exceptional talent to the company and as a result, is able to help companies systematically improve their IT environment to support their key business goals," said Jansen. "When companies like Microsoft recognize Geniant's excellence and then invest in working directly with the company's sales channels, you know you have accomplished something special. Geniant has a team of professionals that are passionate about the company's vision."

While his primary role will be strategic, Jansen said he plans to provide tactical assistance in helping the company identify and pursue immediate growth opportunities in key target areas.

"I will focus on several specific opportunities where I have contacts with national and even international potential," said Jansen.

"Robert has been through this before and he understands the potential for growth," said Lancashire. "He sees that we deliver technology solutions that really help businesses run and grow more effectively, and he wants to be sure that companies benefit from these proven capabilities."
