ABD Insurance and Financial Services Strengthens Employee Benefits Division; Antonio ``Tony'' Casabat Brings Wide Range of Industry Experience to Leading Brokerage

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- ABD Insurance and Financial Services, a leading provider of global risk management and employee benefits solutions, announces the addition of Tony Casabat as Senior Vice President/Sales Executive for the company's Employee Benefits practice. Mr. Casabat, a longtime lead sales and client management employee benefits broker and consultant, has worked with numerous companies in a broad range of industries including high tech, biotech, retail, financial services, property management, transportation, and entertainment.

Mr. Casabat's career spans nearly a quarter century working with Bay Area clients. He began his career at Aetna after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley. In 1983, he joined a privately held brokerage firm in San Francisco succeeding through multiple mergers and acquisitions. He served during the last 5 years as a Principal in the Bay Area office of Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
Mr. Casabat holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. He was awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation from the School of Financial Planning in Denver, in association with the University of Southern California, and has completed coursework in the field of Organizational Development at the University of San Francisco.
