Song(R), Delta Air Lines' low-fare air service, launches its first international route today between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Nassau, Bahamas. Song will initially offer one daily non-stop, roundtrip flight # 2045 departing JFK at 2:05 p.m. and arriving in Nassau at 5:10 p.m. Song's return flight # 2053 from Nassau to JFK departs at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to arrive at 9:25 p.m.

"We are thrilled to introduce Song's first international route, bringing our high-quality service, innovative amenities and low fares to customers traveling between New York and Nassau, an incredibly popular vacation destination," said Joanne Smith, acting president of Song. "With Song's newest entertainment features, gourmet food offerings and in-flight fitness program, we're certain that our passengers will enjoy their flight to The Bahamas as much as they will enjoy their stay there."

Song's December 1 inaugural flight unveils its newest in-flight entertainment offerings, the most innovative of any low-fare service. The new choices, available on all 36 aircraft by late December, include: 10 movies on-demand; digitally-streamed MP3 programming, giving customers the ability to create individual music play lists of 32 songs at their seat, from an inventory of more than 1,600 songs; and 10 video games. Song's in-flight entertainment also includes free, live, satellite television and a popular interactive music trivia game that allows passengers to compete against one another.

"The people of The Bahamas are delighted to welcome Song to the destination," said Hon. Obie Wilchcombe, Bahamas Minister of Tourism. "This new service highlights the ease and accessibility of the Islands Of The Bahamas from New York, while providing visitors a better value with a low-cost, high quality brand."

Maverick Recording artist and American Idol(TM) contestant John Stevens is Song's special guest on the December 1 inaugural flight. Stevens will debut his rendition of "Come Fly With Me" in the air, on-board the inaugural flight. Stevens will later perform this and several other tracks from Red -- his upcoming album due out March 2005 -- at a private concert for Song at Atlantis, Paradise Island on December 1. "Come Fly With Me" will be released by Maverick Records in January and will feature an accompanying video, sponsored by Song, as well as exclusive footage from Stevens' performance at Atlantis.

"It's a privilege to be working with Song. I've had nothing short of an amazing experience thus far and look forward to 2005 and more exciting events," said John Stevens.
