Aspyr Media, Inc. Announces New Game Utility for Mac Users; Game Agent Checks Computer Specifications on User's System to Match Their Hardware with Compatible Games

AUSTIN, Texas -- Aspyr Media, Inc. today has made available a new game utility, Game Agent, that allows users to easily match their computer hardware with system requirements of various games. Users will be able to quickly identify which games will run on their current system and any necessary system upgrades for other games. Game Agent is an OS X application that automatically checks the user's Mac(R) configuration, including: OS version, RAM size, video card, and processor speed, and then, game by game, tells the user if the game "will run well," "will run" or "will not run" on their system. It then gives a summary of hardware or software updates necessary for those games that will not run. Game Agent also automatically updates its list of Aspyr's games and their system requirements, making it easy to access current, personalized gaming information.

Game Agent also makes gift-giving easier by allowing the user to check other Macintosh computer models Apple currently sells through a drop-down menu. This gives the user the ability to see how games will perform on computers ranging from the newest eMacs(TM) to Power Macs(R) and everything in-between.
