Business Wire, Dec 13, 2004
PHILADELPHIA -- Hay Group, a global organizational and human resources consulting firm, announced today that it has appointed Kathryn Lemaire as the General Manager of its Boston office. Effective December 1, 2004, Katie Lemaire succeeds John Larrere, who has been promoted to General Manager of Hay Group's Metropolitan New York office, one of the consulting firm's largest offices.
Most recently, Ms. Lemaire has been the head of the Organizational Effectiveness practice for the US. She has been a leader in Hay Group's Boston office for more than 15 years, and worked in the firm's world headquarters in Philadelphia prior to that. She is a frequent speaker and author and is well-known for the paper, "Designing the Accountable Organization" recently published in The Journal of Organizational Excellence.
"Katie is an exemplary leader and we are delighted to have someone of her capabilities and breadth of experience step into this position," said Gene Bauer, Managing Director of Hay Group's US Consulting Operations.
"Following the excellent leadership of John Larrere and the outstanding consulting teams in place, the Boston office is well-positioned for significant growth in the years ahead," said Lemaire, General Manager of Hay Group's Boston office.
As General Manager, Ms. Lemaire will be accountable for Hay Group's business in New England, which includes leadership development and assessment, compensation consulting, enterprise talent management, and organization design and development.
Hay Group's consulting operations in Boston are co-located with the McClelland Center for Innovation. Named for its founder, Harvard psychologist David McClelland, the Center conducts substantive, empirical research into human behavior and its effect on organizational performance. The combination of applied consulting and rigorous research has resulted in a strong center of excellence for Hay Group in New England.
