HOLLYWOOD -- The 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Motion Picture Nominations Fact Sheet:

Best Performance By An Actress in a Motion Picture -- Drama

SCARLETT JOHANSSON received two Golden Globe nominations last year; one for Best Actress (Drama) for "Girl with a Pearl Earring" and one for Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) for "Lost In Translation."

NICOLE KIDMAN received Golden Globes as Best Actress (Drama) for "The Hours" and Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) for "To Die For" and "Moulin Rouge." She also received Best Actress (Drama) nominations for "Cold Mountain" and "The Others" and a Best Supporting Actress nomination for "Billy Bathgate."

IMELDA STAUNTON - First nomination.

HILARY SWANK received a Golden Globe as Best Actress (Drama) for "Boys Don't Cry."

UMA THURMAN received a Golden Globe as Best Actress (Mini-Series or Telefilm) for "Hysterical Blindness." She also received a Best Actress (Drama) nomination for "Kill Bill - Volume 1" and a Best Supporting Actress nomination for "Pulp Fiction."

Best Performance By An Actress in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical

ANNETTE BENING received previous Best Actress (Drama) nominations for "American Beauty" and "Bugsy" and a Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) nomination for "The American President."

ASHLEY JUDD received a nomination for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Telefilm for "Norma Jean & Marilyn."

EMMY ROSSUM - First nomination.

KATE WINSLET received a Best Actress (Drama) nomination for "Titanic." She also received Best Supporting Actress nominations for "Iris" and "Sense and Sensibility."

RENEE ZELLWEGER received Golden Globes as Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) for "Chicago" and "Nurse Betty" and as Best Supporting Actress for "Cold Mountain." She also received a Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) nomination for "Bridget Jones's Diary."

Best Performance By An Actor in a Motion Picture -- Drama

JAVIER BARDEM received a Best Actor (Drama) nomination for "Before Night Falls."

DON CHEADLE received a Golden Globe as Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or Telefilm for "The Rat Pack."

JOHNNY DEPP received Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) nominations for "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," "Ed Wood," "Benny & Joon" and "Edward Scissorhands."

LEONARDO DICAPRIO received Best Actor (Drama) nominations for "Catch Me If You Can" and "Titanic." He received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"

LIAM NEESON received Best Actor (Drama) nominations for "Michael Collins" and "Schindler's List."

Best Performance By An Actor in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical

JIM CARREY received a Best Actor (Drama) Golden Globe for "The Truman Show" and a Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) Golden Globe for "Man On The Moon." He also received Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) nominations for "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Liar Liar," and "The Mask."

JAMIE FOXX - First nominations.

PAUL GIAMATTI - First nomination.

KEVIN KLINE received three Golden Globe nominations as Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) for "In & Out," "Dave" and "Soapdish."

KEVIN SPACEY received nominations as Best Actor (Drama) for "The Shipping News" and "American Beauty." He also received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for "The Usual Suspects."

Best Performance By An Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture

CATE BLANCHETT won a Golden Globe as Best Actress (Drama) for "Elizabeth." She received a Best Actress (Drama) nomination for "Veronica Guerin" and a Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) nomination for "Bandits."

LAURA LINNEY - First nomination.

VIRGINA MADSEN - First nomination.

NATALIE PORTMAN - First nomination.

MERYL STREEP won five Golden Globes: two as Best Actress (Drama) for "The French Lieutenant's Woman" and "Sophie's Choice," two as Best Supporting Actress for "Adaptation" and "Kramer Vs. Kramer," and one for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Telefilm for "Angels in America." She received 13 additional movie acting nominations for "The Hours," "Music of the Heart," "One True Thing," "Marvin's Room," "The Bridges of Madison County," "The River Wild," "Death Becomes Her," "Postcards From the Edge," "The Deer Hunter," "Silkwood," "Out of Africa," "A Cry in the Dark" and "She-Devil." Best Performance By An Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture

DAVID CARRADINE received a nomination as Best Actor (Drama) for "Bound for Glory." He also received nominations as Best TV Actor (Drama) for "Kung Fu" and as Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or Telefilm for "North and South."

THOMAS HADEN CHURCH - First nomination.

JAMIE FOXX - First nominations.

MORGAN FREEMAN won a Golden Globe as Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) for "Driving Miss Daisy." He also received a Best Actor (Drama) nomination for "The Shawshank Redemption" and a Best Supporting Actor nomination for "Street Smart."

CLIVE OWEN - First nomination.

Best Director of a Motion Picture

CLINT EASTWOOD received Golden Globes as Best Director for "Unforgiven" and "Bird." He received the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1988. He also received a Best Director nomination for "Mystic River."
