Intel CEO Craig Barrett to Speak at International Consumer Electronics Show on Jan. 6

WHAT: On Jan. 6 at the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show,
Intel Corporation CEO Craig Barrett will present the opening
keynote, focusing on how digital transformations, both within
and outside the home, continue to impact the lives of people
around the world. Barrett will outline Intel's continued plan
to drive silicon innovations that support the PC and consumer
electronics industries as they work together to create new
categories of products, technologies and specifications.
Barrett will also describe how these innovations support the
growing digital lifestyles of global consumers, enabling them
to easily experience digital content anytime, anywhere and on
any device.
Featuring eight experience zones, a digital home arcade and a
theater, Intel's booth (#7155, Central Hall, Las Vegas
Convention Center) is a digital dream house where attendees
can test drive the latest digital home products and
technologies:
-- Use new Entertainment PCs to view high-definition movies,
listen to songs with high-performance audio, play the
latest games, and record, pause and rewind TV.
-- Try the latest multimedia notebooks designed for mobile
entertainment and new portable media players and digital
media adapters that allow consumers to experience and

-- Experience wireless gaming on a large plasma screen and
