Gristede's Offers Coffees from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Newman's Own Organics

WATERBURY, Vt. -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) today announced that Gristede's Foods, Inc. (AMEX: GRI) has started offering customers a selection of 16 coffees under the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters(R) and Newman's Own(R) Organics brands in its stores. Newman's Own Organics coffees are Fair Trade Certified(TM), and are roasted and packaged exclusively by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Fair Trade certification guarantees the small-scale farmers who grew these coffees a fair price for their crop.
Diedrich and Charles Gristede founded Gristede's in 1888.
