Resolute Expands Business and Team Capitalizing On Microsoft .NET Market Momentum
Business Wire, Dec 2, 2004
BELLEVUE, Wash. -- New Funding, Ex-Microsoft Executive, Nationwide Expansion and the Adoption of Microsoft Business Solutions Fuels Growth
Resolute, a leading business and technology consulting firm delivering .NET business solutions for mid-sized enterprises and divisions of the Fortune 1000, has secured a million dollar investment from Griffin Bay Limited Partnership and added a key player to their management roster. Resolute, headquartered near the Microsoft Redmond campus, has recently established presence in New York City, Chicago and Phoenix, several of the fastest growing markets for .NET technology and business solutions.
Resolute will use new funding to further marketing and business development efforts. "We are pleased that Griffin Bay has extended their investment and support in Resolute," said John Fallou, CEO of Resolute. "The additional backing will go toward building practices in target markets and further developing our solution offerings to capture a greater share of the .NET market. This sets us up for tremendous growth in 2005."
"Resolute has the right answer, at the right time, to capitalize on the fast-growing .NET market opportunity," stated Robert Gowdy, General Partner at Griffin Bay. "Mid-sized enterprises require business solutions be cost-effective, fully integrated and ensure high user adoption. Resolute and Microsoft .NET solutions offer a sensible choice compared to the overhead of the Big 4 consulting types or local shops with their limited expertise. I am extremely bullish on Resolute's future and the repeatable value they bring to clients."
Bob Tedesco is a recent addition to the Resolute management team. Tedesco comes aboard as Chief Technology Officer, in charge of the company's technology direction and authority of .NET solutions framework. He brings more than 30 years of relevant experience and leadership, having held several executive-level positions at Microsoft and prior to that DEC. He recently held the position of Microsoft's Industry Practice Manager for Financial Services in New York, where he led the way for adoption of Microsoft solutions on Wall Street.
Growth Ahead
As stated by Directions on Microsoft, October 2004 - In Q1'05 Microsoft's businesses enjoyed revenue growth and increased profits. Windows-based servers grew faster than the overall market, with unit shipments up 18% from last year and Microsoft Server and Tools showed 19% in revenue growth. Business Solutions revenues increased 9% over last year, thanks to strong sales of Microsoft CRM and Axapta.
Resolute recently opened offices in New York City, Chicago and Phoenix. "Critical to Resolute's business strategy is to capitalize on the momentum Microsoft has with their .NET technology and emerging business solutions, in particular Microsoft CRM and Axapta," said Matt Duncan, Chief Business Officer. "We have had strong initial success in our expansion efforts acquiring clients such as Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks in the Southwest and Update Legal in the Northeast." Resolute now has development centers on the West and East coasts and an established project team working and instructing on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington.
