Intraware Expands SubscribeNet Service Agreement with iRise
Business Wire, Dec 20, 2004
ORINDA, Calif. -- Intraware, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITRA), the leading provider of electronic software delivery and management (ESDM) solutions for enterprise software publishers and other Fortune 1000 companies, today announced that iRise (www.irise.com), the world's leading application definition software and services company, has renewed and expanded its commitment to the Intraware SubscribeNet(R) service to take greater advantage of its customer support and operational benefits. Based on this renewal, iRise will add additional ESDM self-service tools to enhance end user customer satisfaction as well as administrative functionality to further automate and integrate their software and license delivery processes into their customer support, product release management and other business systems.
"iRise's decision to renew and expand the SubscribeNet service represents its ongoing commitment to provide its customers with the most efficient and cost-effective access to its products," said Peter Jackson, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Intraware. "Digital delivery of software and licenses is Intraware's core expertise, and we know how to streamline these processes for the enterprise for far less than what it costs to build and maintain an in-house solution. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with iRise"
Focused on Fortune 1000 companies, the iRise platform allows business users to visually validate requirements and "test drive" applications through a functionally rich interactive simulation prior to development, ensuring that customized applications meet the needs of the business while minimizing development time and cost.
"Our positive experience with Intraware's ESDM services this past year has convinced us of the value of SubscribeNet to our customers and as a key technology to continually improve our operational efficiencies," said Steve Brickley, Executive Vice President of Products, iRise.
