National Source One Extends Client Services; Company's In-House Training Program Expands to Accommodate New Solutions

Business Wire, Dec 6, 2004

SPRING HOUSE, Pa. -- National Source One (NSO), a provider of branch automation solutions for community banks, announced that its in-house training program is being expanded to include the company's suite of "Gold" products. This provides customers with in-depth, face-to-face training for latest automation solutions.

"These new training courses reflect our commitment to provide community banks custom service that meets their unique training needs," said Larry Hill, executive vice president of NSO. "It is our goal to continually surpass expectations and increase customer loyalty."

Training sessions are offered free of charge and scheduled upon request at NSO's Lenexa, Kan., branch. They give trainees hands-on opportunity to work with the daily banking solutions. Trainees can experience real-life scenarios while experts ensure they understand the process to promote maximum efficiency.

Supervisors, branch managers and tellers can all be included in new product training. New employees are often sent for training as well. Feedback from the participants is collected at the end of each session so that NSO can continually improve the company's presentation.

"We not only want to provide a service to assist our customers in their knowledge of the systems, but we also want to learn from them to be more efficient and help them be more competitive," said Rick Kramer, chief operating officer of NSO.

"NSO listens to its customers' concerns and reacts accordingly," said Dianne Jester, teller supervisor of Union Bank in Benton, Ark. and president of NSO's user group. "As clients, we can see the feedback from our comments and know that our opinions do matter. This instills a strong allegiance between NSO and its customers."

National Source One continues to grow and expand its service offerings with the goal of providing community banks with the technology that best meets their unique needs. The company reported its year-to-date sales increased by more than 70 percent over last year in the second quarter of 2004. Customer service has proved to be a key factor in maintaining current customers' satisfaction and a stellar reputation during this time of constant growth.

"Support is everything," Jester said. "National Source One provides knowledgeable representatives that sincerely care about helping solve problems or challenges we may face. They ensure that you have the correct answers and follow up a week later. This accommodating practice is a strong foundation for the company's new line of gold products."

NSO's "Gold" product suite includes GoldCheck21(TM) complete item processing solution; GoldNet(TM) Internet banking; GoldDeposits(TM) account origination; GoldReel(TM) microfilm replacement, MICR indexing and X9.37 export; GoldImage(TM) positive customer ID; GoldResource(TM) staff scheduling; GoldCheques(TM) laser check printing; GoldPix(TM) microfilm replacement, GoldTracks(TM) loan document management solution and GoldMonitor(TM) Patriot Act 326 compliance.
