PlattForm Advertising Announces Move to Additional Office Facility; Rapid Growth Demands Need for Expanded Space

OLATHE, Kan. -- In a move made necessary by the company's recent growth, PlattForm Advertising has relocated a portion of its staff to an additional office facility adjacent to its current headquarters in Olathe, Kan., where it still maintains operations. PlattForm now occupies approximately 7,000 square feet of space in the building located directly north of its current offices, just across the driveway.

The new building houses PlattForm's entire Interactive team, including programming, web design and web marketing. About forty employees presently occupy the new space, with room for more. The open floor plan will allow for adaptation of the office layout for further expansion.

"We are growing so quickly. In the past three years, our staff has more than doubled in size," said Steve Booth, Chief Operations Officer. "The new space is much needed and essential to allow us to continue to grow comfortably."

The goal of the move is to comfortably house its growing staff and enable the company to grow its business services. This includes growing the Interactive side of PlattForm, as well as the traditional side. For instance, PlattForm added Direct Mail to its core competencies this year; the addition of new space has created an environment that will allow this department, as well as others, to expand and maximize effectiveness.

PlattForm employees are not unfamiliar to the ongoing shuffling of offices. The company believes in moving employees around to allow versatility and provide an opportunity to grow and learn with the environment. Working with different people and changing office surroundings encourages creativity in the workplace. However, the recent move is the biggest shake-up in recent PlattForm history.

With the addition of new space, the daunting task of completely rearranging the corporation fell on Booth and the IT team. Booth handled reorganizing the office setting while the IT team took care of the technicalities such as phone lines and computer network connections.
