Vodafone, Accenture Executives Join Ubiquity Software Board Of Directors; Chris Burke and Dave Seibel Bring Insight and Leadership

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Ubiquity Software, a leading provider of SIP-based communications software, today announced that former Vodafone UK Ltd. executive Chris Burke and former Accenture Canada Chairman of the Board Dave Seibel have joined the company's board of directors.
As Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer, Burke, a 22-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, held responsibility for all Vodafone UK Technology and Product architecture, design, procurement, development, deployment, support and operations. Prior to Vodafone, Burke served as Chief Technology Officer of UK-based Energis, a fixed line carrier, which during his tenure achieved an IPO and listing on the FTSE 40.

"Ubiquity Software is playing a critical role in the enablement of new converged applications across fixed and mobile networks," said Burke. Prior to his chairmanship at Accenture Canada, Seibel was President of Ottawa-based Synerlogic in 1987, which was acquired two years later by Accenture. Soon after, he became Managing Partner for Accenture's Ottawa Office and the Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government Market Unit in Canada, then Country Managing Director in 1996. He retired as Managing Director and Chairman of the Geographic Council in September 2003.
