Superior Galleries Announces Additions to Sales Organization

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Superior Galleries, Inc. (OTCBB:SPGR) announced today that effective December 1, 2004, Neil Berman and Louis Palafoutas have joined Superior as Director of Numismatics and Director of Internet Operations respectively.
Neil Berman, a seasoned numismatist with over 30 years' experience, is based in the metropolitan New York City area. Mr. Berman co-authored with Hans Schulman the Numismatic Literary Guild's award winning book on coin investments, "The Investor's Guide to United States Coins." He has been called as a numismatic expert to testify before the U.S. Congress on coin legislation and has been awarded the ANA's President's Pin for service. Mr. Berman's efforts will be focused on expanding Superior's presence on the East Coast through numismatic trading and the solicitation of auction consignments.
Louis Palafoutas, formerly the president of vintageroadshow.com, an Internet-based live auction company, will be directing Superior's Internet-based rare coin auction efforts. Mr. Palafoutas has been involved with e-commerce for many years and is a leading expert in Internet Live Auction technology. He has been using the eBay Live Auction platform since it was created. Mr. Palafoutas is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the California State Auctioneers Association.
