Chapel Hill Day Care Center Selects Connections Too for New Website
Business Wire, Dec 8, 2004
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- One of Chapel Hill's institutions is adding high tech to its high touch focus. Chapel Hill Day Care Center (CHDCC), a non-profit day care center that has served the community for more than 30 years, has launched a new visual identity and a first-time website. (www.chapelhilldaycarecenter.com)
"So many of our parents are Internet savvy, we realized that a website will help us communicate with our existing families as well as communicate our unique approach about day care to prospective families," commented Pam Anderson, Director of CHDCC.
The site offers current information such as weather related school closings and the bi-monthly newsletter, as well as information parents and guardians may need to review during the year such as vacation schedules and policies.
Connections Too (www.connectionstoo.com) of Raleigh created the website. "We selected Connections Too for their understanding of our child care approach and their creativity," Anderson stated. "We are a very professional non-profit and we want to convey the feeling of a solid organization. The site has a great look, and our message comes through clearly," Anderson concluded.
CHDCC maintains a five-star license through the Division of Child Development and is also accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The five-star license is the highest rating that child care facilities can receive in North Carolina and is related to low staff-to-child ratios and small group sizes, staff education and experience, as well as licensing compliance history. National accreditation through NAEYC is a voluntary process for centers that aspire to provide the highest quality of care.
