The San Francisco Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute is pleased to present Gaston Kent, Vice President of Investor Relations at Northrop Grumman at its next monthly meeting. Gaston's talk is entitled "IR's Internal Audience -- Bringing the Market to Management." His discussion will focus on ways to communicate with management to help strengthen their understanding of Wall Street's expectations.

As corporate vice president, investor relations of Los Angeles based Northrop Grumman Corporation, Gaston Kent is responsible for maintaining communications and relationships with financial analysts, fund managers and individual investors. He was appointed to this position in 1999, after serving as director of investor relations since 1992. Previously, he served as assistant to the executive vice president, operations. He joined Northrop Grumman in 1974 and has held executive-level management positions at the company's Military Aircraft and B-2 divisions as well as at the corporate office. He served for six years in the U.S. Air Force as a military contracting officer, achieving the rank of captain. He received a B.S. in finance from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
