Latest Free Brava!(R) Reader 2.0 Now Supports Tagged Image File

Format (TIFF) and Content Sealed Format (CSF) Files For Sharing CAD

Drawings, Images And Office Documents

Informative Graphics Corp.(R) (IGC), a leader in Web-document and collaboration technology, announces the release of its Brava!(R) Reader 2.0 software which adds TIFF viewing and printing for the Windows(R) desktop. Brava Reader is immediately available for free download and distribution at www.bravaviewer.com.

Brava Reader 2.0 can be used as a TIFF viewer for multipage documents, color images and oversized scanned drawings files. Brava Reader 2.0 can also view files converted by IGC's publishing products, such as the Net-It(R) Now client-side publisher and Net-It CAD plug-ins. Net-It products are used to generate, compress and distribute CAD drawings, documents and images as "content sealed format" (CSF) files, which are readable by the Brava Reader. CSF files provide the ability to find text in the document, measure CAD drawings by geometry snapping and navigate by CAD layers/levels.

CSF is a neutral format that is a protected replica of the source file, including images, graphics, layout, fonts and more. CSF files are automatically encrypted, but allow IGC's Visual Rights(TM) persistent security options to be selected by the user. They can be distributed by both e-mail and Web pages, as well as resources within content management systems. Brava Reader supports all Visual Rights settings, including blocked-out content (redaction) and "burned-in" markups generated by the soon-to-be-released Brava (Enterprise) 5.0.

For more information about Visual Rights, visit http://www.infograph.com/visrights.htm.> Informative Graphics has been developing high-fidelity viewers for over a decade. Brava! software products provide an uncluttered, easy-to-use and intuitive interface in both a desktop application and ActiveX control. It can be embedded in other applications or used as an Internet Explorer Web page component.

"We are very pleased with the momentum we are having with the daily downloads of Brava Reader," said Gary Heath, CEO at IGC. "Supporting free TIFF viewing in Brava Reader makes its even more useful as a desktop application."
