MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2004

Miami-based El Dorado Furniture will open the largest of its Boulevard Showrooms in Kendall. The store, slated to open Feb. 7th, will be the largest furniture showroom in the state of Florida.

El Dorado is not new to this area. Based on their success with their present store in Kendall, located only a few blocks away and now serving as an Outlet Center, they decided to expand with their Boulevard Concept. This store is opening in an area of consistent growth.

The store will feature its successful Boulevard concept in which shoppers stroll around a Main Street with facades from different parts of the world.

"We feel that consumers need a place where they can enjoy their shopping experience and be able to find what they like at a price they feel comfortable with. This is the whole idea behind the Boulevard concept. That's why we have made this store large enough to accommodate many different lifestyles at all price ranges," said Roberto Capo, Chief Marketing Officer.

Some of the furniture categories in the boulevard will be their signature Carlo Perazzi line, "Antique Reproductions," "Shades of Leather" (A Leather only Department), "Mattress Shop" (a Mattress Department), and "Cool Kids Hang Out" (Kids Furniture), among many others. The store will also have a Cafe and has partnered with Radio Disney and will feature a "Radio Disney's Kids Corner."

The 140,000-square-foot store will create approximately 80 new jobs and is located at 13755 North Kendall Drive. El Dorado Furniture has 9 stores in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. For information on El Dorado Furniture, please call 305-624-9700 or visit http://www.eldoradofurniture.com
