In accordance with Section 1202(b) of the AMEX Company Guide, The Topaz Group, Inc. ("The Company") announces that on January 22, 2004, it was informed by the American Stock Exchange ("The Exchange" or "AMEX") of its intention to strike the Common Stock of The Topaz Group, Inc. from listing and registration on The Exchange. The reason is that The Company is delinquent in filing the form 10K for the period ended September 30, 2003. Immediate delisting procedures have been initiated pursuant to Sections 1003 and 1009 of the AMEX Company Guide.
