Applix TM1 Web Sales Continue Momentum in Q4 2003; TM1 Web Allows Users to Create Websheets Directly from Excel to Share Information with Anyone Inside or Outside the Enterprise

Applix, Inc. (Nasdaq: APLX), a global provider of Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Performance Management (BPM) software solutions, today announced new sales of TM1 Web during Q4 2003. TM1 Web, which launched in September 2003, is Applix's real-time BI solution for its flagship analytics engine, TM1.
Applix's unique BIshare(TM) technology makes TM1 Web the only application from a major BI vendor that allows users to quickly and easily create real-time Web-based worksheets or 'Websheets' directly from within Microsoft Excel, allowing users to share enterprise data and facilitating forecasting, planning and budgeting through 'what-if' analyses.
