GraphOn Corp. and Global Logistics Announce Distributorship Agreement; Global Logistics Will Distribute GO-Global Thin-Client Solutions in Israel
Business Wire, July 12, 2004
MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- GraphOn Corp. (OTCBB:GOJO), a leading developer of application publishing and Web-enabling software solutions, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Global Logistics to distribute the GO-Global family of thin-client, server-based solutions throughout Israel.
"We've been a reseller of GO-Global products for two years," said Avi Auslander, president of Global Logistics. "Recent developments such as our strategic alliance with Modusys Systems has greatly increased our potential for GO-Global. This distribution agreement raises the relationship between Global Logistics and GraphOn. It reflects the clear decision of Global Logistics and our partners to further increase our investment in distribution and support activities for GO-Global."
Global Logistics is a strategic partner with Modusys Systems, Israel's largest system integrator in the desktop publishing market and an affiliate of Israel's RAD-Bynet conglomerate. Modusys' customer base includes Israel's two largest banks, its largest industrial and telecom companies, and several higher-education organizations. The two companies are synergistically combining Global Logistics' distribution capabilities and business connections with Modusys' technical capabilities and customer base.
"Global Logistics has been a very successful reseller and we are pleased to announce our expanded distribution relationship," said Tom Castanzo, business development director for GraphOn's European Operations. "Thanks in a large part to their expertise and resources, GO-Global is now used by many of the largest telecom and IT organizations throughout Israel, including Orange, HP, ECI Telecom, Cellcom, Ceragon, and Israel's national telecommunications provider Bezeq."
The GO-Global family includes GO-Global for Windows which publishes Windows applications to the Web or corporate network without the need for Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Windows Terminal Services, and GO-Global for UNIX which publishes UNIX and Linux applications without the need for local X Servers. The family makes applications instantly accessible to local and remote users on any platform, while retaining all of the application's functionality and branding.
