Intergraph Announces New Video Analyst System 420; New High-End Video Enhancement System Offers Maximum Speed and Storage
Business Wire, July 12, 2004
AUSTIN, Texas -- Intergraph Solutions Group, a division of Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR), announced today at the National Technical Investigators Association (NATIA) Conference the availability of the new Video Analyst(R) System 420, a high-end video enhancement workstation offering unprecedented processing speed and storage space. Video Analyst System is a state-of-the-art graphics workstation that delivers tools necessary to capture, analyze, enhance and edit nearly any type of video, making it ideal for forensic and intelligence analysis. The new 420 model features the Video Analyst Separate-RT Viewer, which allows simultaneous, real-time viewing of all cameras recorded on multiplexed video systems for easy event location and identification.
Built for speed and storage
Designed for the frequent or high-end user, Video Analyst System 420 has maximum processing speed and storage space to accommodate the greatest demands. It features a 3.2 GHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor, 1 GB of DDR SDRAM memory, 580GB of storage, Adobe(R) Premiere(R) and Photoshop(R) Elements and support for DV25, MPEG and ITU R-601 uncompressed video.
Same award-winning enhancement capabilities
Video Analyst System 420 includes the same powerful software that made Video Analyst the 2001 inductee into the Space Technology Hall of Fame. In addition to tools to deinterlace, stabilize, brighten, magnify, demultiplex and frame-average video, Video Analyst is the only analysis tool that includes NASA-developed Video Image Stabilization and Registration (VISAR(a)) technology. This technology helps law enforcement, intelligence and security organizations stabilize jittery video, which can then be brightened, smoothed and magnified for dramatic effect.
"The Video Analyst System has become a very important tool in our detectives' tool chest for clearing up crimes," noted Sergeant Craig Teague of the Hurst, Texas, Police Department.
Service and support
Video Analyst System 420 includes a three-year hardware warranty and is backed by Intergraph's superior service and support. In surveys, users consistently rate Intergraph's support organization as excellent (averaging more than 9.5 out of 10). Intergraph offers two-day training sessions both at customer sites and at its training facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
Today at NATIA, Intergraph also announced the availability of their new Video Analyst(R) System 2.0, a video enhancement workstation featuring real-time editing tools and revolutionary features, including project management tools, clearer video output and enhanced audio editing.
