Rogers Cable and Yahoo! Launch a New Integrated Broadband Experience; Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet Combines Speed and Services

TORONTO & SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Rogers Cable Inc., Canada's largest cable operator, and Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO), a leading global Internet company, today unveiled Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet (http://rogers.yahoo.com). This new integrated broadband experience seamlessly combines speed with a compelling suite of services at no additional charge to consumers. Starting today, Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet is available to all new and current Rogers Hi-Speed Internet customers in Ontario and New Brunswick. The service will be offered in Newfoundland later this year.
Key aspects of Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet include a powerful suite of safety and security features with award-winning parental controls(1) ; Rogers Yahoo! Mail a powerful email system with industry-leading e-mail anti-virus, SpamGuard Plus and virtually unlimited storage at 2-gigabytes; Rogers Yahoo! Photos with unlimited storage; Rogers Yahoo! Messenger; music from LAUNCHcast Plus and Rogers Yahoo! Games.

Integrated Experience Allows Customers to Use the Internet the Way They Want
Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet is designed with customers in mind and gives them control of their Internet experience. This service offers a variety of broadband-enabled content and services that are easy to find and use, including:
Online Protection: Safety and security are two of the major concerns for today's Internet users. Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet offers a wide range of online protection services including e-mail Anti-Virus, Pop-Up Blocker, SpamGuard Plus, Firewall Protection and award-winning Parental Controls.
E-mailing and Photo Sharing: Online communications tools have become primary tools in people's lives to keep in touch with friends and family. Rogers Yahoo! Mail gives consumers virtually unlimited storage at 2-gigabytes. In addition, there are no graphical ads and the option to create up to eight secondary mail accounts, each with its own email address and 100MB of online email storage. Rogers Yahoo! Photos offers unlimited storage for digital photos and powerful online tools to allow subscribers to easily view, touch up, share and print their digital photos.
Entertainment and Information: A big part of consumer's high-speed Internet experience is having fun listening to music or playing games. LAUNCHcast Plus gives customers access to 8,000 music videos and more than one hundred commercial-free stations in high audio quality in a range of stations for every occasion and genres from pop, rock, hip-hop and R&B to classical, country, folk and holiday. It also includes a customizable "my station" which plays songs based on the preferences of the individual customer. Rogers Yahoo! Games features four unique gaming destinations: Online Games, Download Games, Games on Demand rentals and Games Domain news and reviews.
Personalization and Customization: The ability to control and customize their Internet experience is a key challenge for many consumers. Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet gives customers the opportunity to build their experience to get their web, their way with separate start pages for home, business and sports - whatever is most useful to them. A powerful browser with a customizable Sidebar and Toolbar allows subscribers to take their favourite tools (like Messenger, Mail or LAUNCHcast Plus) with them as they browse. Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet offers a selection of premium streaming video to keep subscribers in contact with the latest in news, sports, and entertainment from CBC daily news video feeds, premium entertainment segments.
Existing customers will find the transition to Rogers Yahoo! Hi-Speed Internet simple as there is no change to their current email addresses and the registration process to access the new services and features requires approximately two minutes.
