ORANGE, Calif. -- Habitat for Humanity "Home Stand Build" Dedication Ceremony Highlights Community Outreach Partnership Between Ameriquest Mortgage and Texas Rangers

Ameriquest Mortgage Company and the Texas Rangers today celebrate the grand opening of Ameriquest Field in Arlington, the cornerstone of their new partnership to support community development and promotion of homeownership and the values of baseball in Arlington and the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

"Home Stand Build" Homes Dedicated

Highlighting the day's events is the dedication ceremony for two Habitat for Humanity homes constructed by Ameriquest Mortgage employees and members of the Texas Rangers in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity Council of North Central Texas. Called "Home Stand Build," the partners will construct a total of 90 homes for qualified Texas families.

Adam Bass, Senior Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of Ameriquest Mortgage, will introduce the two families who are receiving these homes.

"As part of the most successful continuous community service project in the nation, Habitat for Humanity has been a beacon to many families in need of quality, affordable housing. Ameriquest Hosts Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Ameriquest Mortgage is hosting patients, staff members and volunteers of the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children for the grand opening celebration festivities at Ameriquest Field in Arlington. Ameriquest Mortgage will give 10,000 tickets each year to deserving institutions in the Arlington and Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers focusing primarily on innovative treatment, research and education. In the 83 years since its founding, the hospital has helped more than 140,000 patients.

"We're excited to have the kids from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children join us on this special night," said Bass. "Ameriquest Field in Arlington stands as a symbol of our commitment to community and family. Part of this commitment is ensuring that children have the opportunity to come out to the field, enjoy themselves and experience the positive dreams that baseball represents."

Ameriquest Mortgage has already hosted a number of organizations at Rangers baseball games this season, including youth groups associated with church, baseball and Boy Scouts.

Ameriquest Airship Freedom Overhead

Ameriquest Airship Freedom -- the company's airborne ambassador -- will be floating in the skies above Ameriquest Field in Arlington during the game. Ameriquest Airship Freedom will also be the platform for special events as part of the pre-game ceremonies.

Helping Bring More Affordable Housing to Texas

In addition to its community development partnership with the Texas Rangers, Ameriquest Mortgage is partnering with the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation in the Affordable Homeownership Program for Texas.

Through the partnership, Ameriquest Mortgage is committing up to $100 million to the program, which will assist first-time home buying families throughout Texas obtain the dream of home ownership.
