Alan Aitchison Joins Falcon Natural Gas Corp. as Chief Executive Officer

Business Wire, July 19, 2004

HOUSTON -- Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (OTCBB:FNGC) ("Falcon"), announced that Alan Aitchison has joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Aitchison has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Falcon, he served as Projects Business Development Manager with Schlumberger Limited (NYSE:SLB), the world's leading oilfield services company. While at Schlumberger, he was in charge of developing major asset management projects requiring integrated solutions for field optimization and development in Peru, Colombia and Ecuador. Mr Aitchison will continue his duties with Schlumberger until September in order to hand over his most recent project.

During his distinguished career, Mr. Aitchison has held management positions with other large multinational companies, such as British Petroleum p.l.c. (NYSE:BP), Petrobras S.A., (NYSE:PBR), and Lasmo Oil Ltd. He has been involved in significant projects in major oil producing areas located in the North Sea, Norway, Libya and South America.

"I am very pleased to be joining Falcon's executive team and excited about the opportunity to build an important independent exploration Company focused on natural gas," said Mr. Aitchison. "Natural gas is a vital component of the world's supply of energy and remains one of the environmentally cleanest, safest, and most versatile of all energy sources. The East Bob West field, which will be the initial focus of our planned activities, has geological characteristics that suggest there is the potential to discover a significant new source of natural gas supply at a time of rising demand and shrinking supply."

"We are very fortunate to have Alan Aitchison to lead Falcon at this stage of the Company's development," commented Max Pozzoni, Vice President of Business Development of Falcon. "We are convinced that Alan's strong background in the industry makes him ideally qualified to head our operations and to build Falcon's reputation in the marketplace."

Mr. Aitchison holds a Bachelors of Science with honors in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University of Science and Technology in England, as well as a diploma in Industrial Studies.
