Planned Systems International, Inc. Selected as the Office of Inspector General's -OIG- Small Business Contractor of the Year 2004

COLUMBIA, Md. -- In a ceremony held at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Headquarters in late June, Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), an information technology solutions and services company, was named the USDA's Office of Inspector General's (OIG) Small Business Contractor of the Year for 2004. OIG recognized PSI for providing outstanding Information Technology support to the agency.
The mission of the Office of Inspector General is to investigate allegations of crime against the Department's programs, and to promote the economy and efficiency of its operations, with the object of helping to protect its programs and to ensure integrity.
Included in the ceremony write-up, the OIG describes PSI as having "provided OIG with outstanding professional services, and is always timely and complete. (PSI) staff has been responsive and always willing to adjust to the needs of the Agency." Additionally they write, "This Company has met OIG contract performance requirements efficiently, effectively, and in an outstanding manner. PSI has won many awards, including a USDA Small Disadvantaged Business Contractor of the Year award in 2000."
