J.D. Power and Associates Reports: Web Sites and Online Billing Gain Popularity Among Local Telephone Customers as Web Site Visits Pick Up Dramatically in 2004

L-3 Communications to Supply Electronic Standby Instrument Systems to U.S. Army Apache Helicopter Program

L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) announced on July 21 that its Avionics Systems division (L-3 Avionics Systems) has signed an agreement to supply its Electronic Standby Instrument System (ESIS) model GH-3001 to the U.S. Army Apache Helicopter program. The contract could result in up to $5 million in GH-3001 upgrades for the Apache Longbow Helicopter and is a follow on contract from the U.S. Army.
