Arsenal Digital Solutions Appoints SAS CIO to Board of Directors; Suzanne Gordon Brings More Than 25 Years of IT and Professional Services Management Experience

CARY, N.C. -- Arsenal Digital Solutions, the leading Storage Management Services (SMS) provider, today announced that Suzanne Gordon has joined its board of directors. Gordon, CIO and vice president of Information Technology at SAS, the leader in business intelligence software, brings over 25 years of IT and Professional Services management experience to Arsenal.

Before being elevated to CIO in 2003, Suzanne Gordon served as vice president of the SAS Information Systems Division (ISD), director of National Technical Consulting and acting vice president within the SAS Professional Services Division, where she directed the consulting, strategic support and partnering activities of nearly 300 employees. Before joining the professional services organization, Gordon headed the management information services department in ISD. She joined SAS in 1980.
In 2003, Ms. Gordon was both named a Premier 100 IT Leader by Computerworld and recognized by Triangle Business Journal as one of the region's top 25 women in business. She is currently on the board of trustees at N.C. State, and has served on the alumni association board and College of Management Advisory board. She was named 1999's Distinguished Alumna of the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, speaks frequently at classes and functions, and is Master of Ceremonies at the annual College of Management seminar for students and women in business. Ms. Gordon earned a bachelor's degree in math and computer science and a master's degree in statistics from North Carolina State University.
