VoIPMDU.COM Unveils Online Pay-Per-View Video Production for Added Revenue Streams
Business Wire, July 30, 2004
VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada -- VoIPMDU.COM (Symbol: VPMD-Pinks-OTC-BB) today announced that it is now demonstrating an example of a pay-per-view pilot video production for television on its website (www.voipmdu.com).
"Hook, Line & Supper," is one of several 24 minute productions written, directed and produced by Richard Kipping, who is also the Chairman and CEO of VoIPMDU.COM.
The show features a series of on-the-water excursions to some of Canada's best fishing resorts, fishing tips and techniques and tall tales, as well as how best to cook your catch from some of the top gourmet chefs from around the world. The programs completed to date have been digitized for online presentation by the Company's joint venture partner, INSINC (www.insinc.com), a pioneer in the delivery of streaming video and webcasting. INSINC recently announced pay-per-view programs for a number of clients (See Press Release dated July 20th, 2004) including CTV Newsnet webcasts, live Federal Election Leaders Debates and live audio Internet broadcasts for a local university baseball team. CTV could no longer justify carrying live streaming video of the news on its website due to the high costs of broadcasting, while webcasting provides a much more profitable revenue model as the pay-per-view audience increases.
"Two years ago, when we started developing our VoIP product suite, billing platforms and turnkey solutions for VoIP services, we knew it was only the tip of the iceberg," stated Richard Kipping, Chairman and CEO of VoIPMDU.COM. "The huge potential of online streaming videos, webcasting and video conferencing add a whole net dimension to our overall revenue models," he added. The online venue is ideal for pilot television programs, specialty television, regional broadcasts, live event netcasting, travelogues, sports, concerts and musical group videos.
VoIPMDU.COM is a broadband VoIP telecom company offering local and long distance VoIP services and video on demand to consumers, business owners and multiple dwelling unit buildings. The Company provides turnkey solutions for all of its voice/video/data applications including a state-of-the-art billing platform. For more information please call Richard Kipping, CEO at (604) 484-5252 (A VoIP telephone).
