Business Wire, July 30, 2004

SAN ANTONIO -- SecureInfo Corporation, a recognized leader in delivering enterprise information security solutions, presented at the Department of Homeland Security 2004 Security Conference and Workshop at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, July 28. SecureInfo appeared as a DHS contractor and presented on how the Company's automated security certification and accreditation solution (Risk Management System - RMS(TM)) helps centralize, manage and bring consistency to C&A processes and documents throughout Federal agencies.

The main purpose of this conference was to provide an educational training and information-sharing forum for DHS security personnel. The event focused on providing employees who are involved in the secure operation of data communication networks, facilities management, personnel security, information system development, and other aspects of information assurance the opportunity to review requirements and receive training together. Key members of DHS also provided insight on how they are implementing an enterprise-wide approach and not a by-Agency approach to address their IT Security issues across all agencies. DHS is moving aggressively to implement its vision of how to gain control of security issues across the entire department.

"We are excited about the partnership with SecureInfo and the ability to use an automated security certification and accreditation solution enabling our organization to simplify, accelerate and report accurate documentation for OMB and FISMA reporting," said Wayne Bavry, Director of Compliance and Oversight Program, Office of the CIO, DHS. "This partnership, combined with SecureInfo's RMS automated C&A solution, will allow us to work toward a goal of information security practices that are documentable, repeatable and consistent across all DHS agencies."
