Sabre Travel Network Offers Agency Opt-In Program for Broad Access to Air Canada Fares, Products and Services

Business Wire, June 11, 2004

Business Editors

SOUTHLAKE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 2004

Sabre Travel Network, a Sabre Holdings company (NYSE:TSG), today announced the launch of an opt-in program for Sabre Connected travel agencies in Canada to gain access to a broader array of Air Canada fares, products and services through the Sabre global distribution system (GDS) than currently available through any other GDS.

Sabre Travel Network and Air Canada recently signed a new four year distribution agreement through which the carrier will provide virtually all published fares effective July 5, in addition to other products and services, to Sabre GDS agents in Canada in return for a reduced booking fee rate. Sabre Travel Network is the first-to-market and only GDS in Canada to secure these fares from Air Canada and its participating affiliated brands.

Agencies will gain access to new, additional Air Canada fares, including Tango fares, as well as other products and services, by registering for the opt-in program, authorizing a $0.50 incentive reduction on all Air Canada segments booked through the Sabre system.

"Participating in this program gives Sabre Connected agencies a competitive advantage in the Canadian market," said Joe Herzog, divisional vice president and general manager--Canada for Sabre Travel Network. "Partnering with Sabre Travel Network by registering for this opt-in program allows agents to book with confidence that they have the best content and information available and can give their customers the best possible service and value. It is a win-win-win for Sabre Travel Network, Sabre Connected agencies and their customers."

Agency benefits gained through this program include:

-- Elimination of the need for Web searches or third party search

engines for Air Canada fares

-- Enhancement of agency efficiency

-- Providing access to an estimated 45% more Air Canada domestic

fares and 15% more trans-border fares

-- Enabling agents to offer corporate and leisure customers the

fullest range and lowest Air Canada fares available
