Gabriel Technologies, founders of the "War-Lok" transportation security product line, announce the addition of two new locks offering advanced cargo and trailer protection for the trucking industry. The TAB-10 (truck air brake lock) and the TGH-10 (trailer glad hand lock) prevent cargo tampering, theft and terrorism threats on trucks and trailers. The locks were developed with the same quality and craftsmanship the industry has come to expect from the War-Lok family of products. "Other glad hand and air brake locks available on the market today do not have what it takes to realistically outsmart a potential thief and truly protect the vulnerable areas on a tractor/trailer," said John Detlefsen, executive vice president of Gabriel Technologies. "It is impossible for thieves to pick or drill the War-Lok TGH-10 and TAB-10 making the locking system the ideal theft prevention product."
The TAB-10 is constructed of cast aluminum steel. This lock protects idling trucks from theft by completely encasing the air valves. Because this lock is not a permanent attachment, it can be re-used from one cab to another.
The TGH-10 is composed of cast aluminum and protects a trailer's brake system hoses from being connected to the tractor. It also has an extra flange for additional protection of the 2-plate mounting bolts associated with the air hose connection.
Both the TAB-10 and TGH-10 have over 260 million key combinations possible and the ability to master key 20,000 different locks. Each product's locking core is designed with a flat-keyed locking system. Each component of the disc type cylinder has been designed to withstand the harsh environments of the transportation industry. All components are made of chrome plated steel. The TAB-10 and TGH-10 are pick resistant, drill resistant and key duplication is virtually impossible. They can also be combined with the other products within the War-Lok trucking line to create a complete trucking/trailer security solution, known as the TSK-50.
